1:1 Online Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Coaching
Trauma-informed therapeutic coaching bridges emotional healing with intentional growth. This offering is grounded in deep respect for your lived experience and the ways your body, mind, and nervous system have adapted to navigate a complex and often overwhelming world.
My approach draws from trauma-informed modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), Brainspotting and Somatic Work to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and tend to your nervous system. These tools support deeper self-understanding while guiding you toward the changes and clarity you’re seeking.
Unlike therapy, therapeutic coaching does not involve diagnosis or clinical treatment. Instead it’s a space to process what you’re carrying, understand how stress and grief are showing up in your body, learn about your nervous system and develop ways to feel more grounded when things get overwhelming. I offer support that’s practical, nervous system-informed, and rooted in lived experience—so you don’t have to navigate it all on your own. While coaching can be deeply supportive and transformative, it is not a substitute for therapy. If you're unsure which option is right for you, feel free to reach out for guidance.
You may be a good candidate for coaching if...
You’re feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted.
You’re navigating grief from animal loss, systemic injustice, or personal experiences feel heavy, and you need support processing it.
You struggle with setting boundaries and often feel guilty for prioritizing your own well-being.
The emotional weight of witnessing world suffering is starting to take a toll, and you’re looking for ways to care for yourself while continuing to show up in your work.
You want to learn more about your nervous system and how to regulate stress, anxiety, and emotional overload.
You’re curious about how Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work), Brainspotting or Somatic work could help with self-exploration and healing.
Social situations, stress, or intense emotions are difficult to navigate and you’re looking for support in how to approach this.
You want to sustain your passion for your work or activism without sacrificing your own mental and emotional well-being.
You’ve tried other forms of self-help, therapy or coaching but you’re still feeling stuck.
You’re looking for a supportive space to explore your experiences with compassion and without judgment.
Approaches I use:
IFS/Parts Work
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach that helps people better understand and heal their inner emotional world. IFS is based on the idea that the mind is made up of different “parts,” each with its own perspective, emotions, and motivations. These parts often develop in response to life experiences—especially overwhelming or traumatic ones. For example, some parts might be protective and work hard to keep us safe or in control, while others might carry deep emotional pain or shame. Rather than viewing these parts as problematic, IFS helps clients understand that each part exists for a reason and is trying to help in its own way.
At the center of the IFS model is the belief that everyone has a core Self—an innate, compassionate, wise presence. IFS focuses on helping clients access this Self so they can approach their parts with curiosity and care, rather than fear or judgment. As clients build relationships with their parts, healing naturally unfolds: burdens can be released, protective patterns can soften, and people often feel more grounded, whole, and empowered in their daily lives.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy designed to access and process trauma, emotional pain, and deeply held experiences that may be stored in the body and nervous system. It’s based on the idea that where we look—our eye position—can help us access specific “spots” in the brain that hold unprocessed material. By identifying these eye positions in a focused, mindful state, Brainspotting allows the brain to process at a deep, subcortical level, often bypassing the need for traditional talk therapy and enabling profound emotional and physiological healing.
During a Brainspotting session, the client is guided to find a visual spot that corresponds with a felt sense or emotional experience. While the client maintains mindful attention on that spot, the brain naturally begins to process what has been stuck—often without needing to explain it in words. This method is especially effective for treating distressing experiences, anxiety, grief, and somatic symptoms. Because Brainspotting honors the body’s innate healing wisdom, it can support clients in accessing and releasing pain that may not be reachable through cognitive approaches alone.
Somatic Work
Somatic work is a body-based approach to healing and personal growth that recognizes the deep connection between our physical sensations, emotions, and life experiences. Instead of focusing solely on thoughts or mindset shifts, somatic practices help you tune into the wisdom of your body—where stress, trauma, and old patterns are often held. By cultivating awareness of bodily sensations, breath, posture, and movement, somatic work creates space to process stuck energy, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with your sense of agency and presence.
This approach emphasizes slow, intentional exploration rather than pushing for quick fixes. Through grounding, self-touch, movement, and other nervous system-informed techniques, somatic work supports you in building safety within your body and responding to life with more intention and clarity. It’s especially helpful for those who feel disconnected, numb, overwhelmed, or stuck in their experiences.
